May 5th, 2013
Come and see for yourself why the New Bremen American Legion's Chicken Frys are said to be one of the areas best! All-you-can-eat golden-fried chicken, baked potatoes, green beans, french fries, and a FULL salad bar makes sure there's something so everyone can go home satisfied. Don't forget we also have Carry-Out dinners and buckets available. Chicken fry's are held on Saturday evenings. Doors open at 4:30.
Because of our patrons and members, the American Legion Post 241 and the Sons of the American Legion Squadron 241 were able to make large donations to the New Bremen-New Knoxville Rotary "Sunshine "Park". This handicap accesible park is the only one of it's kind in nearly 100 miles.
Your continued support of our organization and all of our fund-raising efforts will allow us to continue to make donations to other projects in our area and for that we thank you!
Memorial Day Services
We would like to thank everyone who attended our Memorial Day Services. A special thanks to Charles Craynon from Post 217 in Sidney for accepting our invitation to be our Guest Speaker.
Legion Post 241 T-Shirts
Legion shirts are available for purchase at the canteen. T-shirts are just $6 each and all proceeds will benefit the "Gifts for Yanks" program, which provides care packages for our troops serving overseas. If you're looking for a nice gift for a friend or relative, these will be perfect. They are great gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, Memorial Day, or just "Thinking of You". And don't forget to get a few for yourself! Supplies are limited.
